Elago Design’s E7 Armature In-Ear Earphones

Nearly universally, people enjoy music. Certain songs can make you feel certain ways. A sort of euphoria is felt when the right song is playing clearly at the right volume. Music simply can’t carry the same power if its being listened to through your regular cheap headphones or speakers. The Elago E7′s have striking clarity. Such sound quality is hard to describe, as I am struggling to find something to compare it to. I am forced to attempt to explain the greatness of such clarity, rather than compare it to something else. When I first put the earphones in and started playing music, I originally had the intent of working whilst listening. However I was overcome by the music and ended up just laying back with my eyes closed, enjoying the perfection of every note of every song. I noticed things about songs that I had never heard before.

Now that I have hopefully gotten my point across, I’ll move on to some of the other features of the E7′s. They are shaped differently than any earphones that I’ve seen. Then have a nice little curve that makes them stay in your ear better, and at the same time they remain easy to put in. They fit comfortably, and come with three sizes of silicon ear tips that provide noise reduction that can compete with active noise cancelling headphones I’ve reviews before. They’ve got a built in microphone, and a little button that can pause or play your song.

Included

In addition to the earphones, the box contains-

  • Three sizes of silicon ear tips; s/m/l
  • A soft, good looking carrying case
  • Earphones Splitter (lets you plug two pairs of earphones into one jack)

Overall, we at In the Face News have nothing but good things to say about these earphones. The retail price is is $99, but they are currently being sold here, at Elago’s website for $74.99.

KEB40-Insider-1

The Koss KEB40 Insider

The latest release from Koss Stereophones, the Insider, is here. The Insiders are in-ear earbuds, that fit comfortably inside your ear thanks to the three different sizes of silicone cushions that come with them. They feature a compact in-ear monitor, that provides great sound. What really stands out about these little earbuds is the power of the bass. Proving to us that Koss Stereophones stand alone, the only other headphone comparable to the bass power contained in the Insider would be the Koss PRO4AAAT over-ear headphones that we reviewed earlier. All this power is housed within a stylish aluminum capsule for durability. The sound comes from 9mm drivers with a frequency response of 15-20,000 Hz. That’s tech speak for these headphones sound amazing. One last nice feature is that these earbuds come with the Koss Stereophone No-Questions-Asked Limited Lifetime Warranty. These truly stunning headphones retail for only $29.99, which is a complete steal in our opinion. You can get them at your local Best Buy, or BestBuy.com today.

Cortex CHP-2500

The Cortex CHP-2500’s are the affordable pair of headphones for any demanding DJ or casual listener. They are constructed of a hard plastic material that will endure most wear-and-tear. These quality headphones come in a usual package displaying the features of the product. We tried the Cortex CHP-2500’s out and were very happy. The comfort level is a 10/10 because of the versatility of the headphones. They come with 2 types of covers that will fit any person’s comfort desires. The headphones also isolate sound perfectly so all you hear is the music. The sound quality is good, but we wish that the bass is a little stronger. Overall, these headphones are a perfect choice for anyone looking for a pair of headphones to DJ or just listen with.

Wacom’s Bamboo Pen and Touch Tablet

In the past from Wacom, we have seen tablets with touch-sensitivity, tablets with pen sensitivity, but now they have combined the two features to create the ever impressive Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet. The thing that we like the most about this tablet is that the options for its use are really endless. It connects very simply to any sort of computer through a USB Port, where prompts appear on the computer screen, which guide you through a very easy, 10 minute installation. After that, several different paths for the Bamboo tablet may be taken. To begin with, the tablet acts as an oversized trackpad, where you can touch it just as you would touch the trackpad of a laptop. The “trackpad” feature also works while using the pen. Just hold the pen a centimeter or so above the tablet, and you will see the mouse onscreen. Then all you have to do to click is press the pen onto the tablet. From there, the Bamboo tablet may be used to take notes on or edit any document already on your computer, write documents of your own, or create art and drawings, to name a few. All of this is very easy given that Wacom provides its customers with generous downloads of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 and 7.0. The Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet retails for $99, so the question we are asking ourselves is why doesn’t everybody have a Pen and Touch tablet? Because they really should. This tablet has so many different uses, everybody will find something to use it for. We at In the Face News would DEFINITELY recommend that you buy Wacom’s Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet, because it could seriously upgrade the way you already use your laptop.

SoundMagic’s EH10s

SoundMagic’s EH10s are like nothing we have ever seen before. Their revolutionary half-in-ear design with the bar that fits around your ear feels noticeably more comfortable and stable in your ear than most other headphones. The EH10s have one of the best balance of sound we have ever heard. The bass flows extremely smoothly with the rhythm and beats, without the beats taking over and blocking out the music, as seen innumerably in other companies’ models. We would highly recommend these headphones to anybody who is looking for great sound quality. Additionally, SoundMagic’s EH10s stay very well in your ear while running, so we would also recommend these to runners who are looking for a headphone that will stay in their ear AND deliver great quality. The SoundMagic EH10s are available for the great price of $38.00! At this price, the EH10s might be the “most for the least”. They perform excellently and are extremely cheap in comparison to other companies. In conclusion, the revolutionary half-in-ear EH10s by SoundMagic are a great decision for anybody looking for headphones who are focusing on sound quality and affordability.
